Q&C Wooden Nalbinding Needles and Case

Description

Have you heard of nalbinding? Well, if you weren't born in 6,000 BC perhaps you have yet to experience this ancient craft. Often called the cousin to knitting and crochet, nalbinding is a technique that uses a single-eyed, wooden (or bone) needle along with short lengths of yarn (hello, scrap stash!) to create an elastic fabric. The fabric is formed by looping and knotting the yarn through previously created loops. In nalbinding, each loop is connected and knotted in itself. In knitting, each loop is interlocked through the previous row and stitch. Because of this interlocking (knotted) technique, nalbinding stitches will not unravel like in knitting or crocheting.
